On Thursday, October 1, ceremony in celebration of homecoming of Hachinohe-shi Kasagi was held in Yokohama Bayquarter, and Chairperson Kajimura attended and thanked for effort of people concerned in greetings. Caroline bubie Kennedy stationing in Japan U.S. Ambassador attended at ceremony, too.
There was this Kasagi in top of torii of Shinto shrine in Hachinohe-shi, and was drained in tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake and was cast ashore at the Oregon coast of the United States of America in 2013. It was kept the other day in Portland Japanese garden, but adjustment with the person concerned is set and will be returned to Hachinohe via Yokohama Port.
