Service pipe or waterworks of home which parted from water pipe of Water Works Bureau buried under the road have you manage in you because it is property of customer. (Yokohama-shi Channel regulations Article 17 Paragraph 1 (the outside site))
Therefore, as a general rule, customer will be expected to pay about water rates for the quantity of water even if leak of water is included in quantity of water that we measured with water meter.
However, even if customer always performs appropriate management as for the leak of water from service pipes which is not exposed of the walls of the underground and building, discovery may be difficult and may become large about water rates for quantity of water including for leak of water.
Therefore, we reduce a part, and there is system that can receive reductions such as water rates from quantity of water at the time of the inspection of a meter including leak of water concerned only when we meet constant standard. (Yokohama-shi Channel regulations Article 29 Paragraph 1 No. 3 (outside site), regulations enforcement official regulations Article 20 Paragraph 1 No. 3 (outside site))
It is leak of water occurring and between water meter and faucet and is caused by the damage of service pipe and waterworks in residential land or trouble. In addition, we say thing which is not based on intention of customer and third party or fault.
About application period of reductions such as water rates accompanied with leak of water, we apply targeting at for inspection of a meter month including leak of water.
If repair of water leak is completed, you list required items in "use quantity of water authorization application accompanied with leak of water" of Water Works Bureau issuance in you and attach copying of documents (bill or receipt of leak of water repair) which can confirm that we repaired, and or please bring mail to water supply office (PDF: 387KB) having jurisdiction over use of water supply place of customer.
In addition, please note that you may ask for submission again when you have any questions about omission of mention (seal leaks) or repair contents on submitted "use quantity of water authorization application accompanied with leak of water".

※Wanting customer, please inform of "use quantity of water authorization application accompanied with leak of water" by mail to Water Works Bureau customer Service Center.
As not only leak of water is loss of precious aquatic resources, but also there is the risk to bring secondary disaster including the inundation to cave-in and building of the ground in residential land, we confirm place equipped with a water supply and water meter regularly whether leak of water does not occur and ask you.
