JR Higashi-Kanagawa Station and Keikyu Nakakido Station are in our district and it is important district where industrial area and inland of seaside part contact with and is placed as area base of Yokohama-shi.
Therefore, Urban District Redevelopment Project or excellent building plan promotion, instruction of maintenance business, and promotion guides the high use or cityscape formation of land appropriate for location characteristic to the station squares by maintenance of urban infrastructure facility.

Business summary

In Higashi-Kanagawa Station East Exit, three business of "maintenance business by Yokohama City Housing Supply Corporation such as Higashikanagawa station square district excellence buildings" and "welfare facilities maintenance business" by the city welfare station was completed "Higashi-Kanagawa Station East Exit district Urban District Redevelopment Project" by city area redevelopment association. In addition, nickname "kanakku city" of district is decided by open call for participants.

We updated use of conventional land where timeworn low-rise building wooden houses crowded and planned commerce, use of land with houses of altitude and disaster prevention-related improvement. In addition, we founded walker deck and elevator which informed of JR Higashi-Kanagawa Station and Keikyu Nakakido Station and neighboring facilities as barrier-free measures and secured bicycle parking lots and maintained public facilities.

Yokohama City Housing Supply Corporation acquired Japan National Railways settlement corporation site, and "maintenance business such as excellent buildings" to plan utilization of land by cooperation of building, and to supply good urban house was carried out. In addition, in building, we maintained Kanagawa inhabitant of a ward Cultural Center as the public public interest facility.

We updated use of land in the corner lined with timeworn buildings facing Higashi-Kanagawa Station East Exit station square and we maintained house, bicycle parking lots and planned disaster prevention-related improvement and use of altitude of land appropriate for the station square. As public facilities, we connected walker deck to deck of station square and maintained reinforcement of barrier-free line of flow, public bicycle parking lot, temporary stay refuge facilities.
