Recognition system of local town development rule

  • While local town development organization gets understanding and support such as local residents about use of building and land, this recognition system is system that the mayor authorizes rule that we established voluntarily as area town development rule. (Regulations Article 12)
  • We can promote area town development by city cooperating with local town development organization, and guiding building acts and area town development organization applying rule based on area town development rule that received authorization independently. (Regulations Article 13)
  • Yokohama-shi announces the operational situation of rule of local town development organization. (Regulations Article 17)

Our district is historical town which developed as post town of former Tokaido. Tozuka station square district center land readjustment project started in 2002 to dissolve traffic jam with Tozuka University railroad crossing, and to plan unification of Totsuka Station east and west district and maintained city planning road Kashio Tozuka line which did railroad and grade separation (underpass), and neighboring town development has been pushed forward. We devised guidelines about design or life manner of building which assumed "town that "talked" with living comfortable safely in station neighborhood, and felt o pleasure", "unity" concept in place incarnation of each block from 2007 to push forward cityscape maintenance like Tozuka with maintenance of residential land in business area, and current town regular has been formed. For the purpose of sharing integral characteristic as residential quarter in district, and pushing forward town development, we devised "bright town community Tozuka rule" based on guidelines on block unit newly in future.

Our area was appointed at the time of Kohoku new subdivision maintenance in associate industrial district and formed industrial zone mainly on manufacturing industry of small and medium size and protected the operation environment by establishing rule such as restricting location of exclusive house by agreement on building standards. However, as a result of agreement on building standards lapsing in 1997, and having become able to build exclusive house, large-scale apartment house was built for 2, Heisei four years, and fluctuation occurred in the operation environment because inhabitants whom there was not of recognition with associate industrial district entered. Therefore company managers in area started, and they discussed any group "east Jun Yamada mechanic fair to protect" individually with the master of building so that trouble did not happen in the area. However, we devise this agreement as area town development rule for the purpose of planning coexistence with housing while being only individual discussion, and protecting the operation environment such as factories with environment as industrial zone because we cannot protect environment to be able to live for continuously in peace.
