Type of act that procedure needs varies according to districts. For details, please refer to separate table (about "having report, discussion or not" (PDF: 248KB)).
About area except the above, the scenery method, procedure for urban environment law are unnecessary.

City planning and town planning discussion district, agreement on building standards may establish standard in other systems.
About having district designation or not by other systems, please confirm in "Yokohama-shi administration map reporting system town development map information (i- muppie)" (the outside site).

Yokohama-shi assumes whole city scenery plan area.
District (scenery promotion district) needing report is only 4 following districts now.
About act and development activities such as buildings except scenery promotion district, we do not need report.
In addition, in the case of area needing report, there is indication called "scenery plan" (scenery promotion district :○○ district) with it is "Yokohama-shi administration map reporting system town development map information (i- muppie)" (the outside site). In the case of area where does not need report, there is indication called "scenery plan" (all city limits).

We establish "scenery plan about development activity of green slope" targeting at all city limits. We set standard about height and tree planting of law (seaweed) when classification of land and category 500 square meters or more performed development activity in land of "the forest" that this derived development in green slope appropriately and created comfortable living environment. Report of scenery plan is unnecessary to match these standards at the time of examination of development permission, and to confirm conformity.

As start of construction is limited for 30 days from the next day of report, report is necessary within 31 days before start. In addition, in the case of act targeted for cityscape discussion, please perform cityscape discussion prior to report.

The mayor may perform advice based on the scenery method or alter statement to perform changing.

When we perform acts (cityscape formative action) such as construction of building in appointed district, with cityscape discussion, we say discussion to perform with city to "cityscape discussion district" about design based on "the regulations (urban environment law) about creation of Yokohama-shi attractive cityscape".
This discussion is doing that we plan the higher quality scenery formation that as city and company discuss based on matter (act guideline) which should become guideline of the scenery formation of district, was correct in individuality of district with aim.

As relations with design concepts are big, please perform proposing of discussion at earlier stage of design. We cannot start construction if not after we finished cityscape discussion.

Among acts (cityscape formative action) targeted for cityscape discussion, we are doing act that influence to give scenery is particularly big with "identification cityscape formative action". When there is proposal of discussion about specific cityscape formative action, city decides policy of topic for discussion and discussion after having listened to opinion in council for Yokohama-shi beautiful cityscape measures. As applicable act is set for each district, ask to counter in charge of each district in detail.
