About designation of high tides inundation assumption area
System to appoint the inundation assumption area by the largest high tides which we could assume, and to announce was founded for enhancement, reinforcement of the evacuation system for high tides by Flood Control Law revision of 2015.
Based on regulations of this Flood Control Law, Kanagawa made "high tides inundation assumption area figure" which was the largest high tides which we could assume and appointed area where the inundation was assumed as "high tides inundation assumption area" on April 19, 2019.
(basic setting condition)
(1) We assume typhoon (moving speed of central pressure and Ise Bay typhoon of Muroto typhoon, storm radius) of the biggest scale in our country past
(2) Typhoon course producing the largest high tides is set by Tokyo Bay (Kanagawa section)
(3) We consider flood in river with high tides
(4) We assume the worst situation and anticipate rips such as dikes
